What it is

A tab tells you where the notes are. It doesn't tell you how to move your hand. That's the part where people get stuck: G to C in time, or the F barre — the chord that almost made you quit.

Import a tablature file for a song you love. GuitarMind reads it on your phone, pulls out the chord progression, and turns it into a chord map of the song, a lesson for every change in it, and an animated fretboard that walks the progression at the song's own tempo.

What's in it

Every change, finger by finger

Both shapes side by side, shared anchor fingers ringed, and a plain step for each finger: stay, pivot, lift, move, place. "Keep your index finger planted — it doesn't move in this change."

Your own tab files

Import the tabs you already have. Everything is read on the phone, and your library stays put between sessions.

An animated fretboard

Fingers glide shape to shape through the progression at the song's own tempo, with a metronome, a one-bar count-in, and half and three-quarter speeds you can switch mid-song.

Hard chords in stages

F major has a four-rung ladder, from a two-finger version up to the full barre. Play the song today and grow into the real voicing.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't play the song's audio — the play-through is a fretboard and a metronome. It doesn't listen to you play. And it has no song catalog, which is the whole point: you bring the songs.
